Role Overview

The Ground Operations Manager coordinates ground services with various stakeholders ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality. This role demands a deep understanding of airport regulations, safety requirements, and the ability to manage resources effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the issuance and updating of the Ground Operations Manual and its Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Flight Operations on ground operational matters.
  • Ensure efficient, safe, and economical ground handling of company aircraft.
  • Adherence to legal requirements, rules, regulations, and AOC provisions.
  • Plan manpower and control budget for stations.
  • Ensure efficient baggage handling, ground support equipment maintenance, and achievement of company service goals.
  • Train Ground Operations personnel for safe and professional conduct.
  • Coordinate with units for station audits and ensure timely rectifications.
  • Guide and support in case of accidents and irregularities at all stations.
  • Represent the company in collaborations and safety management initiatives.
  • Oversee administration and coordination of relevant management aircraft, flight planning, and dispatch.

Qualifications

  • Male or Female, age over 27 years.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 6+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience in ground handling, with at least 5 years.
  • Familiarity with Airside Safety Management System and Dangerous Goods Regulation (DGR CAT6 qualification preferred).
  • Ability to travel and adapt to different locations.
  • Exceptional communication skills in Thai and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
